I had high hopes for this, but my cat won't drink out of this. It also gets dirty fast.....Looks nice though.

 Relief from filling the water bowl every day, 2008-05-14
Our kitty always has clean water now! No more waiting until we get home, or drinking out of the sink. It took kitty a couple days to get used to it, but now she's drinking more than ever. It runs quietly after the initial start up. It seems like a well built unit that will last us a long time. I highly recommend this!

 Works for short term Water needs, 2008-04-24
We initially used this for daily water needs for our cat, but it is a lot of work to keep clean and the water in good condition. Plan on cleaning this every 5-7 days (the whole unit). Now we use this when we are out of town so our cat has fresh water the whole time. This way we do not have to keep cleaning it on a weekly basis. Works great for this application! not sure i would recommend this for everyday use 24/7/365....

My cats love to drink from it, I was afraid when I bought it that the noise would scare them from it. But the only sound it really makes is when you need to put water in it. It's easy to keep clean. I highly recommend it!!

Phoenix's waterfountain, 2008-03-08
We have four cats -- Scat, Togo, Phoenix, and Lenny. Phoenix and Lenny, the youngest and more technology-savvy of the crew, LUUVVE their new cat fountain. Scat and Togo are still suspicious of it. We got it because Phoenix has always loved running water, and usually stuck her paws in the water bowls to stir it up before drinking, thus getting their water dirty. We figured she'd appreciate the constantly running water, and we were correct -- she and Lenny do love it. WE love the black and steel design, which goes with our master bedroom, and how quietly it runs. And we don't mind filling it up every day (it could use a bigger reservoir but we chose the medium-sized one, which is fine for four cats).
